Hey Good Lookin’ @ Stables Theatre, Hastings, East Sussex. Gwen Watford Gallery

Step into a heartfelt evening of story and song as Bev Lee Harling weaves together touching memories of life with her father and the bittersweet reality of dementia. From the cobbled yards of foundry life in Elephant and Castle to the salty shores of Hastings, this intimate solo performance explores the deep bonds between parent and child, the dignity of working-class life, and the power of music to connect us across time and memory. Featuring original songs and the beloved country classics of Hank Williams, please join us for this special work in progress performance and become part of the making of the show as Bev shares her process so far and gets your vital feedback to take the show on to its full potential later in the year.

Bev Lee Harling trio LIVE at Centenary Celebrations for the OB @ Observer Building, 53 Cambridge Rd, Hastings

18 JULY @ 7:30 PM – 11:00 PM Hastings Commons invites you to join us on 18th July 7.30pm – 11.30pm to celebrate the finished façade of the Observer Building. In 1924, the building never had an opening party, so this is our chance to celebrate… only 100 years late! The scaffolding has been up for a long time, and we are very happy to see it come down – we would love for you to join us in celebration. There will be refreshments and a paid bar, music from the last 100 years and a specially commissioned song to celebrate the building. At 9pm, we will invite attendees outside for a celebratory illumination of the façade of the OB and the premiere of new song 'Ode To The OB' written and performed by Bev Lee Harling. With thanks to 8Build Ltd for sponsoring this event. Please note: tickets are now sold out for this event, but you can still sign up to be added to the waiting list here.
